PRINCIPAL, ARCHITECT

What initially inspired you to join the architecture world, and what continues to inspire you?

I have always been fascinated by architecture. When I was 5 or 6 I started drawing floor plans.  Even when camping as child I would use objects (firewood, rocks, etc) to create buildings and other three-dimensional stacked forms.

It is incredibly rewarding to see projects move from paper to space.  Whenever I walk through a construction site I am thrilled to see the concepts I have drawn and developed realized.  Architecture in many ways is like telling a story.  Each space is part of the narrative.

Fun Fact
I recently purchased my childhood home and plan on renovating and expanding it for my own family.
